life down under

Stories, travel tips, favorite places & spaces from a six month stint in Sydney

June, in photos

I cannot believe that the month of June is nearly over! I've been living in Sydney for over 2 months now and feel fully settled in which is nice.  One of my customers the other day even remarked that I sounded like an Australian! I'm not sure I agree with him, but I definitely feel at home here and have been loving Australian life.

I've been trying to take more pictures of my surroundings so that I'm not only sharing pictures of my incredible brunches or coffee :) Sydney is such a beautiful city and I hope you enjoy some of my photos from the last month or so.

Missing Vivid a little bit, but not missing the crowds

Taking in the sights at Bondi beach on a cloudy day.

Exploring Watsons Bay with my Mom -- dat skyline

Watsons Bay, walking towards Doyle's on the beach for some seafood!

This birthday Bloody Mary was so good. Thanks, Bondi Hardware!

Luna Park - 30s style fun house in North Sydney (a little creepy IMO)

On the docket for this weekend is a trip to Melbourne! It's a short flight from Sydney, and I'm excited to explore and experience the food, shopping, and COFFEE of Melbourne. My friend (and fellow HubSpotter) Nurah is traveling with me, and we've lined up an AirBNB right in the city center. Although it will be a few degrees colder than Sydney this weekend, it will be great to explore another city and state in Australia.

'Til next time!
